Hartlyn lived on a cozy farm with her dad and five year old sister Kadalyn. Her best friend Aden lived a mile up the road and was always visiting. She had a better life then most people until The Black Blizzard rolls in.

This is one of the first things I ever published on Wattpad and I wrote it years ago so it's really bad compared to how I write now. But I'm not gonna take it off so yeah.

Her hand was on the doorknob. Stopping me from closing it. I look up at the girl. To see tears in her eyes. Ones that she was trying so desperately to hide. Sunday Still Remembers - Sunday's Dream
This story moves the way it does because it follows the logic of a child's mind rather than the logic of the plot. Sunday drifts through memory, sensation, and small observations because that is how she survives what is happening around her. The meandering structure reflects the emotional truth of childhood: children do not experience pain in neat, orderly arcs, but through fragments, images, moments of fear, and unexpected pockets of beauty. I wanted the story to feel lived rather than arranged, so it wanders the way memory wanders-returning to what hurts, lingering on what is gentle, and holding tightly to the small kindnesses that make endurance possible.

Seventeen year old Casper Reynolds and his goofy laidback best friend Eric live and breathe surfing. Living in a busy tourist town in California right on the coast makes for a pretty crowded city, especially in the summer. Casper's parents just so happen to own one of the most sought out hotels in the city. So when they end up short-handed during the busiest time of year they ask Casper to help out. Instead of getting to surf from sunrise to sunset, instead of being able to check out the 'hot babes' as Eric would say, and instead of having the summer of a lifetime he gets stuck with a summer job. It doesn't help one bit when a mysterious grudge-holding girl ends up staying at the hotel Casper's working at. After a chance encounter that goes horribly wrong the girl obviously has it out for Casper. If personalities could be graded like school work Casper would be a solid C. He's average. He's not memorable or extraordinary or even remarkable. The mystery girl however would be an F as in a failure of a human being. She's mean, cruel, and simply unbearable. So what happens when Casper finds out the girl has secret? Maybe...just maybe he'll realize there's more to her than a rude, crude exterior. With couple heated arguments, sarcastic comments, and a little blackmail anything is possible. *Warning* ~This is my first book on Wattpad so, read at your own risk. "Thanks Ally." I grabbed all the flowers then ran back to the car. I drove to the grave. I threw all my stuff into my bag. I grabbed the flowers and I pulled my bag over my shoulder and got out. I looked around and saw people young and old coming here to see their loved ones. I saw my families graves. Almost my whole family will be buried here. My grandpa always said it was sacred. I put the Cosmos on my dad's grave. The Daises on my grandmothers and the Roses on my grandpas. I talked and talked to them till I pull my pack of cigarettes out of my bag along with a lighter.
