Berkeley forensic psychology major, Madelyn Knight, has just finished her sophomore year of college. But even more exciting than summer approaching is Madelyn getting to spend it on the west coast for the very first time.
Berkeley law professor, Sandy Cohen, has selected Madelyn as his summer intern where she will work alongside him on and off campus. However, the internship will not be the only exciting thing about California once she meets her new supervisor's son, Seth Cohen.
Both rising college juniors, Madelyn and Seth are quick to bond...and quicker to fall for one another. As the two grow closer, they realize they've been connected for much longer than they thought. Yet, it seems their growing connection may very well be what tears them apart. Summertime, though, cannot last forever. And as the sun sets on the season, Madelyn and Seth must face an obstacle nobody saw coming.
***NOTE: The story will begin in Berkeley (San Francisco) where the Cohens moved in the series finale, but will majorly take place in Orange County (where I imagine they have kept their house for summers etc.).
