Summer, 1992. At Camp Evergreen, the air smells of pine and smoke, the lake glitters under the August sun, and secrets burn just beneath the surface. Cal Parker, nineteen and quiet to the point of invisible, has spent his summers at the camp trying to stay out of sight and out of trouble. It's easier to play the role everyone expects - dependable counselor, small-town boy, perfectly normal. But this year, something shifts when Dylan Reyes arrives - all city edge, cracked laughter, and carelessness that hides something rawer underneath. Thrown together as co-counselors, Cal and Dylan form a connection that feels like a secret language: shared songs, stolen glances, and nights by the campfire that stretch too long to be innocent. But in a place where rumors spread faster than wildfire and where being yourself can cost you everything, what begins as quiet friendship quickly becomes something dangerous. As the summer heat builds and tension thickens, Cal must decide how much of himself he's willing to hide - and how much he's willing to lose to feel seen, if only for a moment. A story about love that flickers in the dark, the ache of secrecy, and the fleeting, golden summers that change you forever.

"What are you doing here?!?" Ash whirled, his eyes wide and so perfectly HIM that Will nearly fell over. "I'm sorry," Ash stammered. "Is this--this is cabin 398, right? This is where I'm staying, I think, unless the paper got it wrong--?" Will stared at him, and only one thought ran through his mind. "This is going to be a long summer." After Ash lost his memory, Will was desperate to get out of the town that held too many raw, painful memories. He was going off to a two-month long summer camp, and was glad to go, even if it meant leaving Ash behind. But when Ash and someone he never thought he'd see again show up at the camp, he is faced with an impossible choice, and he's not sure if he can make it without breaking someone's heart.
