Selling his life away to enlist himself into a shady inter-planetary mega corporation, Sigurd is entrusted with three other workers, including his brother, and tasked to explore abandoned moons in search of valuable scrap. As the three day deadline for their profit quota draws near, the crew race against the clock to ensure the needs of The Company is met - which retroactively means risking both their jobs and their lives. - A personal project I've been working on for about a year or so, this is meant as a silly little adaptation of what Lethal Company is to me! My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series)
BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.Complete

In our world, We have a simple life, To people go to school, working on their jobs and having a company and so on and so forth. And the evolution of our planet earth kept on evolving.....but...have you ever wondered? When you where a kid you always thought that there's superheroes in our world that can fly and shoot lasers out of they're eyes. But that's just a fictional. Heck monsters and Giants are nothing but folklore and story's, They're just made up. There is no such thing as a zombie, ghost or even flowers that can talk or trolls walking around in the dark woods. Or even mythical creatures such as griffins, unicorns, mermaids, dragons ect. They aren't real, they are just stories and fantasy and nothing else....they are nothing else but a myth. But....What if.. What if...it wasn't? But instead it came from another world. And that world is what you have dreamed off, and not just one... millions of different world's and different possibility, a cartoonish world to dragon's and wizards. Or just straight up similar to our planet but without the letter H. These are called.... Dimensions. Jack and Ann have taken me on a great adventure full of mystery and incredible technology, I hope you'll join us. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn't understand. It's a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger.
