Zombie Apocalypse meets the Gamer. to make it a bit different, I decided to create a new kind of zombie with its own rules. hopefully, the zombie will become more dangerous and open up new possibilities. So basically, this is a story of an underdog guy surviving the zombie apocalypse... and the unrequited love of the woman he loves. I am not a native speaker of the English language, it's actually my second. Grammar might be a problem. I accept every comment and review provided that they are constructive. Ciarán has lived for centuries, originating from a time before pre-Christian Ireland. It was an era when his people lived in harmony with nature rather than conquering it. He fought against the invaders, the kings, the abbots, and the so-called holy men who divided his homeland between the Christians. Their actions destroyed the land and, with it, his very way of life. The druids banded together to defend their way of life and their home, but in the end, it was not enough. How could it be when they were so outnumbered and so many of his fellow druids slaughtered? And so, most of the other druids who survived, flocked to the new villages and new roles, trying to cope with the new reality that Ireland was not what it once was. With a defeated and heavy heart, Ciarán, lived in solitude for centuries and centuries, hunted by the years in his youth before the Christians came and tore down the sacred and ancient forests. Ciarán is one of the few ancient druids remaining, he spends his time in one of the last remaining ancient groves, protecting it and nurturing it. Since that time since the first of those boats landed on Ireland's shore, Ciarán is not the same druid as he was those years ago. For one, he is one of the most powerful, diving into and perfecting all manner of druid magic, light and dark as he never wants to feel as hopeless as he did in his youth. But fate had other plans. After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects. Everything changed eleven years ago and only a few knew what actually happened after billions of people died. That all changes one-day though and I found my life completely flipped upside down. This is a fantasy theme, with magic, witches, dragons. This is a story with a female strong lead surrounded in mystery & unknown; not to mention being chased by huge wolves, undead, & necromancers. Summary; Kollbaine is fleeing into the frozen north flying as fast as he can away from his own pursuer, when he sees a small moving speck in the distance of a frozen wasteland. There are too many wolves in these parts, and no people. Even as he watches and strains his eyes he sees the need to pour out as much speed as he and Howl can muster. There's a girl ahead surrounded by a pack of wolves, and she's about to be eaten. If they can only make it in time! But he and Howl are both already exhausted and wounded. They are also still being pursued themselves by another enemy rider and his dragon. What will happen when his pursuer catches up?

The Orcs of the east have lived in War for countless generations. Now that the Great Khan of the North plots the war to end all wars, Druids of the South and Shamans of the North have to battle for their lands, while a family is caught in the crossfire of betrayal. This is a first draft and things will change here and there, but that means I appreciate feedback all the more. Now that the first draft is done I will let it stay here and be it just so I can read myself how much things have improved from the earliest clunky chapters, no matter how hard I have to cringe at some things^^ Still happy for everyone who is going to read it and give me some advice. I will post the second draft only once its complete and not chapter by chapter and even that as a different story, so to not cut anyone who is still reading this version.
