The Way You Laugh

Jisung's always been the light of the group - the one who laughs loudest, cracks the stupidest jokes, and hides his exhaustion behind a grin. Minho knows it's all an act, though. He's seen the way Jisung's smile falters when he thinks no one's looking, the way his laugh sometimes sounds like he's trying too hard.

When Minho moves in next door after promotions, he starts to notice the little things - late-night lights under Jisung's door, muffled music, scribbled lyrics about loneliness. Slowly, without meaning to, Minho becomes the reason Jisung starts to laugh for real again.

But the closer they get, the harder it becomes to ignore the unspoken tension - the fear that maybe Jisung's laughter has always been for everyone but himself.
