A Battle Within

"Go away, already! It's not like I missed you or anything. You only make things worse."

"It's the deeds that make the person, Chelsea. And you, my sweet little pawn, are my most valuable weapon."

"But why? I don't need this. I never wanted this. I never wanted anything you ever gave me. Have you ever asked me what I actually wanted?"

"Well, no, but I'm asking you now. What is it, really, that you want?"

Chelsea was really a criminal at first. She didn't want anyone to find out about her, especially after she escaped. Chelsea meets an unlikely crew of girls with powers, like her. There's also a boy, Tom, who doesn't seem to do much but make cupcakes. Chelsea soon realizes that she and the other girls could vanish in an instant, and that the only reason that she is alive is because her generation of Legacies, or people with powers, have come together for the first time in eons, and they have now become the most powerful weapon ever. With a black hole threatening to swallow their entire universe, Chelsea faces the most difficult choice in her entire life.
