This book serves as the sequel to Yu-Gi-Oh Chronicle: Invasion.
Three years have passed following the defeat of the Kashtira. Edwin Yukihiro (17), now a high school student (final year) and his friends are returning back to their normal lives as students as well as duelists. One day, trouble arises when the existence of a parallel dimension known as the AlterVerse emerges and shifts the balance of the Earth, prompting them to undertake another adventure to save the world once again!

After the defeat of the evil time traveler Paradox, and saving Duel Monsters, Jaden was ready to return to his time period. However what was meant to be the way home instead sends him to a different dimension entirely. There he finds out that this dimension has Fusion, Synchro and another summoning method he's never heard of, Xyz, and a new one that was just invented, that being Pendulum summoning. In this new world he'll make new friends and find love. However little did he know, that there is a Dimensional War coming to the standard dimension, and Jaden will have to protect Yuzu, Lulu, Celina and Rin from both Duel Academia and Leo Akaba, and he must stop the return of Zarc. And plus a different threat also emerging as well.
