"The Tea Kettle Tree" (A Cozy Woodland Tale) Once upon a time, in the heart of the Whispering Woods, there stood a great red teapot-shaped shop where Milly the Mouse sold hot chocolate and cookies. Every creature knew that a cup of Milly's cocoa could warm even the chilliest paws. One snowy morning, two little chicks-Pip and Peep-peeked through the window, balancing bravely on their eggshells. "May we come in?" they chirped. "Of course!" squeaked Milly. "Everyone's welcome where the cocoa's warm." Outside, by the frozen stream, two rabbits watched their reflections ripple in the water. "Spring will come soon," said Hazel. "Let's hope so," said Thistle. "I miss the green grass." That night, Milly lit her lanterns. Her friends gathered: the squirrels, Nutmeg and Nib, roasted acorns by the fire, while Moss and Clover, the tiny field mice, danced on the table, their candlelight flickering like stars. Up the hill, behind the tulip path, stood a round little door in the roots of an old oak tree. It was Bruno the Bear's home-a gentle soul who loved books and naps. His house always smelled of honey and wildflowers. When it rained, Whiskers the Mouse would wander with a giant leaf umbrella, humming to himself. "Rain makes stories grow," he'd say. And one sunny morning, as butterflies fluttered and bees hummed, all the friends gathered in the clearing. Milly brought cookies, the chicks brought songs, and Bruno read aloud from The Secret Garden. Even Fern the Fox crept from her den to listen, resting her nose on her paws as fairy lights twinkled in the trees. As dusk fell, Milly looked around at her friends-the rabbits, the bear, the fox, the chicks, and the little mice-and smiled. "This is what home feels like," she whispered. And in the cozy glow of lanterns and laughter, the Whispering Woods slept peacefully-dreaming of cocoa, stories, and forever-friendship.

A little girl, no older than eight years old, with black hair and brown eyes ran into the kitchen, "I'm all ready for bed Mama." The woman dried her hands off with a towel. "Alright, Nymphadora. Let's get you to bed. We have to get up early to see your brother off to Hogwarts. " She gently grabbed the girl's hand and led her into her bedroom, where a Niffler was curled up on the end. "Orion has been waiting for you." The little girl climbed into her bed and snuggled under the covers, "Can you tell me a story, Mama?" The woman started to walk to the bookshelf on the wall but the girl stopped her, "No, mama. My favorite." The woman sighed with a soft smile, "I've told you that story a hundred times. Do you ever get tired of it?" She shook her head and started counting on her fingers, "nope, I love hearing about Uncle Harry, Aunt Mione, Uncle Ron, Uncle George, and Aunt Luna, and it's about how you and daddy met," The girl made a dramatic sigh and threw her hand over her eyes, "it's so romantic." The woman sat down on the bed and muttered under her breath, "It wasn't always romantic." The girl bounced in the bed in excitement, Nifty crawled into the older woman's lap, and she began to pet him as she turned to the girl, "All right. But let me start from the beginning...it was the dead of night when Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall left a baby Harry Potter on the doorstep of his aunt and uncle..." The girl scrunched her nose, "I hate those people..." The woman gave her a playful glare, "Are you going to interrupt or do you want to hear the story?" "Sorry, mama," she giggled. "Any hooty..." she started the story again, "Dumbledore and McGonagall met on Privet Drive waiting for Hagrid to arrive with baby Harry..." -I am not a fan of JK Rowling, but I am a fan of Harry Potter. -I wrote this for fun and I loved the idea. -This is a FredxOC story
