Dear whatever, Or is it whoever? I don't know, I'm not a writer anyways. Hi, I'm Arielle, but please call me A, I'm sick of hearing my name, or anyname actually, it just bothers me that I'm not actually as special as they'd want me to believe. Who's they? Unintentional Passion
Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" 'The night was alive with silence. I moved through it like a shadow, black leather gloves tight on my hands, boots soft against the grass. My gas mask hid my face, leaving only darkness where my eyes should be. The world narrowed to a single point: the house ahead. Tonight, it would belong to me. The farmhouse rose stark and white beneath the moonlight, silent except for the occasional grunt of a pig or the low hum of a cow. They were unaware. They were insignificant. I crouched behind the hedge, eyes scanning, senses alert. Every detail mattered: the flicker of light across the curtains, the faint rustle of movement inside, the way a shadow shifted across the floor. She was there. Oblivious. Popcorn in hand, murmuring to herself as the television flickered. Every motion was a note in tonight's symphony, and I was the conductor. I studied her, cataloging. Timing. Patterns. Fear. She didn't notice me yet, and that was perfect. Patience was everything. One sound, one misstep, and it could all unravel. I rang the doorbell once. Silence. Again. Still nothing. She flinched slightly, just enough to make my pulse quicken. Her small reaction was delicious. A sudden movement in the yard caught my eye-a neighbor's dog barking at some unseen intruder. "Guys, I got another note," I say as I sit down at lunch. Vanessa and Xander were here but Hazel was missing. "Where's Hazel?" I question, eyeing her empty seat. "Out with Adam today, it's Friday," Xander says whilst I munch on my sandwich. "Did you say you got another note?" He asks and I hold my finger up and try to swallow my food as quickly I can so I can speak again. "Yeah, this one says, 'You look so beautiful in blue, I wish I could say this in person,' I really want to know who's playing this prank," I say and my eyes fall to the only prankster in Waterstone Academy, Sebastein. "I don't think it is Sebastien, he loves attention and this doesn't scream attention," Vanessa says as my eyes land on him. But my eyes move from Sebastien quickly to the hottest man in Waterstone, Vincent. He has been bugging me for a week, trying to talk to me and he even asked me to come to Logan's party on the weekend. My eyes must have been drilling holes into his face because he turns in my directions. I quickly turn back to Xander and Vanessa who were talking about their Art projects. "Okay, so if not Sebastien then who?" I voice my thoughts out loud. "Maybe you have a secret admirer," Xander says in all seriousness and I burst out laughing. My laugh attracts some attention because 1) it was loud, 2) I snorted. "Yeah right," I say once I sober up. *** A secret admirer. Everyone wishes they had one but not Amara. Her secret admirer has been torturing her ex-bullies and even though that's what she wanted before, now all she wants is for it to stop. "Stop that." I jumped slightly as my eyes shot over to the familiar hulking form standing in the doorway of my bathroom. I always forget how tall Derek is until I'm standing right next to him. Or in this case in front of him. "Stop what?" my brows furrowed as I watched his reflection fully enter the room until he stood right behind me. His large hands rested on either side of me on the counter, trapping me between his arms. His chin hovered over my left shoulder as his forest eyes scanned my face in the mirror, his lips forming a small barely noticeable frown. But I noticed it. "Stop judging yourself." was his simple reply, but I know that something like that is easier said than done. "you're beautiful, red..." he leaned in further and I could feel his hard chest pressed against my back, making my insides do somersaults. "if you knew what I've done... the people I've hurt... you wouldn't think I was beautiful either..." ...... Alice Books has blood on her hands and doesn't believe she deserves a shot at redemption.
