(REWRITING) Loose Strings (Dandy's World AU)
Hello! I am sprinklutzzz, and you are reading my OLD, BAD fanfic on the Roblox game, Dandy's World. This is a description on what this is about and a list of things to note as you read. So, let's dive in! Loose Strings, previously called The Ichor Operation (28/4/2025 - 23/10/2025), is similar to what Dandy's World is about: Toons are trapped in the Gardenview Education Center and Museum, which has closed on June 29th, 2002 due to allegations, lack of safety regulations, and a malfunction occuring. Now, they must survive with what they have, while doing machines to keep themselves alive. (This is why I think machines are done. Yes, I changed it.) Be careful though, don't touch the mysterious black substance called Ichor, or it'll turn you Twisted & thirsty for more. You wouldn't want to hurt your friends, right? (So much.. cringe.... *SOB* ｡°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°｡) Things to note: " " = Someone is talking. ' " = Someone is thinking & saying something at the same time. ' ' = Someone is thinking. " ' ' " = Something is quoted. ' " " ' = Someone is signing something. I started writing this fanfic on April 28th, 2025 on Grammarly. I try to keep a high readability score + have good grammar, but there are some mistakes! Let me know if you see any! I've also used words to replace the word "said" from a website since I get sick of using "said" a lot! The Gardenview center was a grand museum, and home to the Toons that were created there. Sprout is one of these Toons that call Gardenview home, and though this life has been kind to him, he finds it a bit. . . 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦, to say the least. He was certain that was all about to change, though, when a new toon is announced to be released. Even though he had friends, Sprout longed for a close relationship with another toon. Kind of like how Astro had Dandy, and Shelly had Tisha. But at the same time. . . Maybe he wanted even more than just a '𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥' relationship? However, when Sprout is given the run down about the new toon, he is hopeful he won't have to wish for a best friend because once he met the new toon, he'd have one. And, he was correct. Once the new toon and Sprout met, he felt an instant connection. He was overwhelmed with this new feeling, but loved it immediately. And for a while, everything was great. Wonderful, amazing, even. Sprout goes to Gardenview High, a highschool. He has been friends with a pastry named Cosmo for 5 years... until something sparks. One day he finds himself falling head over heels for the cake roll. ...Until there was a baking competition. Cosmo and Sprout both sign up, thinking they'll be teamed up. But no, they're separated in singular groups. The price is hefty, 15,000 dollars on the line for one cake. How could they top this? They were only in highschool. Sprout fears that this baking competition might ruin their friendship. But all for all, light for light, will this competition grow something deeper within them, or ruin it all?
