Moving to her great great grandfather's hometown felt surreal. Marianna Vale saw that the the town still had old buildings with modernism sprinkled throughout. Fairy lights were hung in the plaza, there were little shops all around, locals schools and grocery stores nearby, and the town was always bustling, making sure to quiet down at night. But the town's time clock is what started this all for Marianna because when she saw the time, something in her snapped.

Ciderfield had a stain on its spotless reputation that was filled with welcoming neighbors and clean-cut lawns and big, rich houses that the townspeople couldn't scrub out. Centuries ago, in 1525, was the first recorded start of The Harvest. And then, the first of January in 2025, twelve o'clock sharp, a family had disappeared the first of the year. Then six months later, Marianna, her little sister, Sienna, and their parents arrive and everything changes.

Marianna begins to have dreams of being in other people's bodies, inside their lives, finding out secrets that should of never been known to her. Sienna keeps seeing and hearing this family cry out to her for help, telling her she doesn't have much time left and a choice has to be made. Together, they force themselves to stop whatever hold the town has on the people...but nothing comes without a price to pay.

The price might be too big for them to handle...
