In the quiet months following the war, love becomes something fragile. It becomes a thing that grows where it shouldn't and breaks where it shouldn't have to. This story is told through the mirrored thoughts of Ron and Astoria: Two people learning how to grieve the living as their spouses find solace in one another. As the story unravels, we follow along as they describe the feelings of watching someone they love fall in love with someone else. Someone that was never expected. They write letters to the ones they've lost, to the ghosts of what could have been and to a future they never get to have. A Dramione story told through the eyes of two people who are left forgotten. The song I love you, I'm sorry was stuck in my head the entire time I was writing this. Other songs I recommend for this story: I hate u, I love you by Gnash & Little do you know by Alex & Sierra.
