+++ INQUISITORIAL ARCHIVE: CLASSIFIED FILE 44-BETA +++
Subject Designation: "Sporeborne"
Origin: Outpost Kessar, Segmentum Tempestus
Threat Level: Escalating

Initial analysis confirms contact with a unique Tyranid bioform. Unlike conventional spore ammunition, the organism survived initial deployment and began autonomous predation.

Observations suggest accelerated adaptation and possible emergent synaptic capacity - without proximity to a Hive Node.

Local losses have exceeded 3,000 personnel. Remaining ground forces report "a small, pale predator" evolving between engagements.

Requesting Death Watch intervention.

Fountellion in THE SPIRAL: Greenwise & the Nature of the Game de Ademc77
45 partes Concluida
A gateway to a long-awaited, always-online virtual island (an 'Autonomous World' or 'Permaworld') has opened for those who've found a key. This includes Dan Harvester, a guy who lives in a run-down apartment with his cat and runs a gaming channel. He's almost done playing and testing VR games, but this one could be his final chance to - truly - level up. What can it promise to him, and all its very first 'pioneers'? 'Fountellion'...is said to be 'natural' game-world, a N.E.P. world (Naturally-Evolving PermaWorld) full of artificial life that mimics the laws of our own natural world, with its shaping force of evolution. The game promises to be more than an open-world survival experience, for there are seven 'Insights' scattered and every player can find their own path to them. How much will Dan be changed, by his own search? A game-within-a-game or a simulated homage to the natural world? A complete vision of a 'metaverse' design which overgrows or salvages addicted players? There is only one way to find out: Tune in and experience Dan's 'avalogs'. For only by completing them and the fragments from the development, may you too discover the vision and legacy of 'Fountellion'... Notes: Please be aware this is speculative sci-fi, and includes outlines for an actual game-world within the story. The project is also decentralised and open source. Website is: https://ade-m-campbell.gitbook.io/fountellion-in-the-spiral-origin-nfts/ Interested in nature games and dev? Please get involved, on Twitter etc... Read also the prequel: 'In THE SPIRAL: Connected Stories & Fragments from a Virtual Future.' And in 2023: 'Through Fountellion: A Personal Story of an 'Ultimate' Game'.... Talk to Greenwise CHATBOT.... the AI / NPC himself via 'Character . AI' and POE.....

Original release: 2020 Two paths stretch before Jora as he awakens in the hospital without memory nor any known records: on one, a doctor wishes to help him recover his memory; on the other, a scientist wishes to do the same. However, on their quest for the truth, not everybody has his well-being in mind as they discover the reality of his situation puts their own goals in danger. A combination of Science Fiction and Fantasy that embraces the bizarre, and is wrapped in mystery with some aspects of horror. 2020 Author's Notes are available in the comments. I highly recommend reading the chapters first! 2024 Author's Note: This story has been cancelled, and is due to be rewritten. Many aspects may likely change in the future, though. I originally took down this story because I disliked the universe I'd set up as well as the execution of the story itself, and intended on doing a reimagining. That second take came and went, burning myself out over struggles to pace it well thanks to its highly unusual and experimental structure. This story was also taken down to prevent some of the events that occurred later in it from spoiling the latter parts of "Redwater Riot." That said, I feel like it would be a good idea to rerelease this story as a sort of museum work, a way to look at what my writing was back then and how it has changed over time. I don't intend on finishing "Polaris Garden," though I do intend on a rewrite in a later "Imperial Reach: Awakening." Something much closer to what this was than what I'd done before. I hope you will all join me in this journey as my writing grows and changes over time. Thank you. 2025 Author's Note: Imperial Reach: Awakening coming Q3 2025.

What starts as a mere search for cult activity brings inquisitor Ilvex "Vex" Tamruth back to Codra Minor. But nothing is as it seems. An abducted Ecclesiarchy pontifex is just the beginning. Soon Vex and his retinue stand alone against a devious foe they have never fought before: Chaos This is the forth of my inquisitor Vex stories in the Warhammer 40000k universe. It was originally planned to be just a short story, tacking palce many years after the first three stories. But I liked the idea behind it so much that I turned this into a full fledged continuation to finally complete Cassilia's story.
