At the death of her grandmother, Eve starts receiving random letters, one of them containing the keys to a house in the woods. The letter contained a will that was signed before the disappearance of her grandmother, with the house being included completely signed over to her. With Eve struggling with paying rent as a college student, she decides to take this opportunity and move into the house to ease financial pressure. After just a couple nights in the house, Eve feels like she's being watched at her every move. She feels strange gusts of wind during the night but no window is open. Sometimes she even thinks she feels fingertips grazing her arms and shoulders. These thoughts abandon her, she's just grateful she has some place to live ... even if it may be haunted. "What?! You think ghosts are just supposed to be scaring people for no good reason until they die and then drag their victim to hell or somethin?! What nonsense!" Vanessa was just an ordinary college girl before her life turned upside down after that one summoning ritual... Trigger warning: mentions of violence, gore, blood, decay, inappropriate 17+ content, shitty writings, more dialogues than actions, and also inconvenient moments. Also this story is extremely short as i do not have the motivation to write long stories :sob: And im still an amateur at writing so there's that. Credits: @icebridgedaddy for writing the prologue and epilogue.
