**I am also disregarding most of what happened in the animes in this fanfic. This is really just a fanfic taking place at some random point in the black butler universe (assumed to be after the Jack the Ripper arc)
In Victorian England, wealthy nobles are dying. And it's not an ordinary type of death, either. All have been mutilated, with various body parts missing and the same cryptic symbol branded onto their backs. The queen's watchdog Ciel Phantomhive has been called to investigate, but little does he know that the queen has also put another certain Earl on the case as well.
