Abby thought making a short film for media class would be just another box to check - another project to survive, not feel. Then she gets paired with Maxine Baker. Max, with her too-bright laughter and soft chaos. Max, who makes even the ordinary feel cinematic.
Between late-night editing sessions, stolen glances across cluttered desks, and a camera that always seems to catch too much, the line between their project and their lives starts to blur. The film becomes a mirror - one that shows them not just who they are, but who they're becoming.
As Abby's carefully curated walls begin to crack - her family's divorce, old heartbreaks, the fear of being truly seen - Max refuses to look away. And somewhere between takes, friendship turns into something tender, terrifying, and real.
It's not a love story they planned. But it's one the camera can't stop recording.

"I... Am here to see you.", I told him as I placed my hands around his neck. I could feel my heart beat getting faster but I had to keep it strong if I had to survive this scenario. "What?", Brandon asked completely startled. I leaned in more closer to him. The only good thing in this entire scene was that he wasn't pushing me back due to my creepy behaviour. "Oh... Bran, I was missing you so much, I just... I needed to see you.", I said as I came up with lie. "Are you drunk?", Brandon asked as he leaned in closer trying to smell my mouth. Thank God Fel had given me her mint gum only moments before I went commando and came inside the locker room. "What?", I scoffed still standing extremely close to Brandon. "I just.... I was missing your gorgeous face.", I told another lie. But wait? His face is gorgeous so that isn't a lie. And was I not missing seeing him? I noticed Brandon who just had his eyes popped out of his socket with bewilderment at my words. I decided to peck him on the cheek before I storm out of the locker room. I leaned ahead to peck Brandon who moved his face in my direction and instead of his cheeks, our lips crashed. Brushing against each other, our lips touched. I could feel fireworks exploding inside my entire body. With my neurological system not responding anymore. ******* Depicting the hostility and vulnerability of a young woman to a society the story centers around a normal sophomore, Amy Cole, who had a normal life. Well way too normal for her situation. Amy's life was all good until one day, when her friends dumped her and blamed her for something she never even did. Her life takes a complete turn as her childhood crush, Brandon Mayhew, the Mayor's son, who once broke her heart, rushes back into her life through a series of events. With new friends, shifting thoughts, confused feelings and fighting anxiety and standing for the right thing. Amy makes her way to the top. Only to get at the top of everyone's hate list.

The inner thoughts of Maxine Baker. Following after her brother left for Rehab, her friends enjoying their summers' without plans of her being apart of them, and her slowly fading into her own depression. Will things get better for Max or will she become who she never wanted to be? "Sometimes, seeing is believing; however, sometimes believing makes it hard to see." -First Paragraph. This story is not for the feint of heart. It will get deep, it will feel dark, may even feel painful to read. I do not own any of the Characters from Ginny & Georgia. I created this story because I feel as though I can relate to Max, I can feel her hurt and pain. And this story is a continuation of what happens after Season 3. 15 parts Complete Mature

Abby has learned how to disappear. Not literally but in the quiet ways only some will notice. Skipping meals, avoiding mirrors, shrinking herself until she feels small enough to be invisible. At school, no one really sees her pain, not even when it's screaming behind her smile. Not until Emely walks in. Emely is new, loud in her own quiet way, and unapologetically different. She's chubby, confident at least on the surface and her presence turns heads. But under that armor is a girl just as lost as Abby, just as weighed down by her reflection, just as desperate to be loved without conditions. As their lives intertwine, Abby and Emely discover a kind of friendship they've never known before: one built not on perfection, but on pain, healing, and truth. Together, they confront what it means to live in bodies the world tells them to change and whether they can ever feel whole in their own skin. But healing isn't easy. And not all wounds are visible. - Started : June 11, 2025 Ended: July 2, 2025 © @serenefa1ry
