Oppressed by the monsters and demons that inhabit the castle overlooking the village, four children dream about being able to escape the village and live outside the castle's walls. As they get older however, only one of them wishes to escape and most now fight against the demons of the castle to live free with seemingly no one but a mysterious fairy to help and guide him.
