"Who's the other girl?" Coach Bombay asks, pointing to one of the the only players Mr. Tibbles hadn't introduced yet.
"Oh! Her? That's Abigail Summers. She's from Manhattan, New York and the best player I've seen. Period." He stated, with a smile before continuing.
"I clocked her at 1.7 blue line to blue line. She's incredibly agile and has been winning her team the state championships since pee-wees."
"She's exactly what we need." Bombay breathed out silently, turning towards where the girl was seen twirling and skating backwards.
Abigail Summers is the best of the best.
Winning every game since the pee-wees, only made her desire to play in the olympics or Junior Goodwill Games stronger. She wanted to be the one coaches told the younger kids about. She wanted to win and then play hockey in the NHL.
The only flaw in her plan is that women apparently aren't allowed to play hockey in the NHL. So she makes it her goal to get recruited to the championship of her dreams.
But a certain boy might make coming home after the games a lot more complicated...
Only rated mature for slight use of strong language!
