With parents being freshly divorced, Kate Larson moves to live with her paternal Grandmother in Tennessee. While Kate struggles with having to live with a family she would awkwardly only see on holidays, she also has to deal with going to a new school and making new friends- all in her senior year. Cassidy, Kate's cousin, introduces Kate to a group of friends. This group of friends is filled to the brim with captains in every sport the high school can offer, all of them being male. Keith Scott, quarterback and captain of Brookesburg High School's football team, is complete eye candy to Kate. Kate and Keith hit it off immediately, learning everything they can about each other. But with every relationship- new or old -comes challenges that will either make or break you.

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.
