Pop icon Elara Caruso once ruled the charts - until a toxic relationship and addiction sent her tumbling from grace.

Pushed by her management in pursuit of former glory - Elara is asked to work with Trent Reznor, a much older, alternative producer who's style couldn't be a further cry from her own. She expects another failed comeback- but in the quiet rhythm of the studio, Elara begins to see herself through his eyes - not as the broken star the world made her, but as who she really is under the glitter and sequins.

As their creative bond deepens into something more, the two must learn to navigate their feelings whilst both still burdened with the demons of their past.
