While on a girls' trip, Angel Givens experiences an electric change encounter with the likes of 'Mario'.

Quickly, she finds herself enamored and swept away by his clear charm, intense eye contact, and self confidence. So much so, that she finds herself spending quite a bit of time with him. Two weeks turn into a healthy obsession between the two, even when she returns back home that is, until he ghosts her...for two years. It's not until she's requested to take on a special client, causing her to come face to face with the familiar stranger she tried so hard to forget.

But it's more to him than meets the eye. Something dark, sinister...and intriguing, throwing Angel into a spiral of questionable choices, tough decisions, and possible heartbreak.
