Beatrice Prior, also known as 'Tris' is the new girl who goes to Dauntless High, many people see her as a weak person who can't do anything. But that outlook is different for 7 other students from her class, Four, Christina, Will, Uriah, Marlene, Zeke, and Shauna. Instead of going to school, Four decides that him and his friends should all ditch and instead, go to the County Fair. He and the gang are surprised when they see not only Tris, but Tris riding in The Local Horse Show.
