Way back in the 1700s, a mad scientist named Max Winters created a potion to make humans perfect instead of imperfect. He wanted to test it out on a few people, without them knowing. But instead of getting the result he asked for, he got the result he never wished for. 

His test subjects turned into robots.

With the permenant micro chips growing inside them, this kind grew on and continued to grow. There is now a whole monarchy of Biotic Humans that fight and train to defeat evil mechanics.
