Nathan Dowry is a pretty typical teenager, going to James River High School. He and his "unique" best friend, Jeffery, survive the football-crazed school together, cracking jokes with each other and just generally having fun. Nathan, though, still wishes he had more. For him, his social awkwardness limits him from doing what he would like, which is acquiring more friends. Who knows, maybe even a girlfriend.
Unbeknownst to him, getting hit in the face by a volleyball might be the best thing that has ever happened to him.
Cazey. Goody Goody. Doesn't take people's crap. Loves herself. Has two best friends. Opal and Jen.
Ian. Bad boy. Player. Sleeps around. Has three best friends.
He see Cazey and has interest in her. Cazey doesn't like him at first but after a deal. They go on a date. There's also a ball to the face that brings them closer.
"Why are you so attached to me?!" Ian yells at me.
Everyone is staring at us. I never thought I would become something crazy ex like this.
"Because you made me believe in forever!" I say. Tears streaming down my face.
"That was your mistake." He walks away.
