This story is a continuation of the BONUS Episode Rangers Force Train Raids, where after Jason was unable to transform, Earth was attacked By Warstar One of the powerful Space Conquest Fleet they want to Destroy Earth and Kill Gosei The Angel From An Unknown Galaxy.
Here Jason and his new friends will fight to defend Earth from the Warstar invasion and a third party who wants to kill Gosei.

In the distant future of the 28th century, mankind survived near extinction and made it into the wider galaxy, with almost no other sapient life in the milky way to stop humanity's expansion. The series takes place three weeks after the events of the previous series, where the Grid Warriors sacrificed themselves to save the city from the computer virus. The city is still reeling from the loss of the Grid Warriors, and the people are struggling to come to terms with what happened. Meanwhile, a group of five middle schoolers - Alex, Stacey, Jack, Kristy, and Kai - are going about their daily lives, unaware that they are about to be chosen for a great destiny. The mythical Gosei, a powerful being who has been watching over the Earth, appears to the five middle schoolers and chooses them to become the new Power Rangers, known as the Angelforce. Gosei explains to the team that they have been chosen to protect the Earth from the forces of evil, but he doesn't reveal that the evil force they will be fighting is the Gorma Tribe. The team is hesitant at first, but they eventually accept their new roles as Power Rangers. They begin to learn how to use their new powers and work together as a team.
