Five kids escaped the lab. That's the easy part. Now they have to survive - mud, hunger, panic attacks, and each other. Alex thinks too much, Ace jokes too loud, Violet worries for everyone, Star hides her heart behind exhaustion, and Ellie just wants to believe the world can still be kind. They're a mess. But they're free. And maybe that's enough to start with. this will be getting updated depending on my mood- its technically still a draft but i really wanted to share it with others :). please comment if you find any spelling and/or grammar mistakes. writing in my free time so updates wont be very frequent.

With a plague ravaging the world, the remaining people come together to create D.E.S.P.A.I.R Although they mean to cure the world and rid it of this monstrous infection, their experiments are twisted and cruel "The end always justifies the means" The real question, though, is yet to be even discovered: Does the end really, always, justify the means? What is the line not to be crossed? Is there one at all, when it comes down to saving the world? Or follow the story of Sam, Kris, and Mortem as they try to escape a facility that tortures them to no end with needles, puzzles, and tests of all sorts to supposedly find a remedy for a deadly disease, while in the back of their minds rots one question: If staying means the world can be cured, should they really leave?
