After one of the best evenings of her life, at the junior high school ball, a young girl experiences her first and only kiss. During the awkward moment, something goes terribly wrong and her life is turned upside down, severing her from the usual humdrum of a teenage girl and hurling her into the world of the paranormal.
Who can she trust, where can she turn? And what is it with this 'other girl' that has befriended her in this foreign place? Why is this impostor leading her to places she does not want to go and pretending to be someone that she is not?
As the young girl drifts unknown paths, she begins to unravel the mysteries, learns of new threats she could not predict and finds herself in situations that cannot be controlled. She discovers these unpredictable threats can cross both lines, creating havoc wherever they appear. Will she find all the answers and pick up the pieces, or will she be lost in this oblivion forever?
**N.B. This will be published very soon so, if you want to be one of my honoured Pre-Published review team members, then message me and I will send you the fully re-edited manuscript, prior to it being published, so you can do a fantastical review on the live, published version for me (on amazon, goodreads etc,). That would be so cool. :)

------------- "Why're you staring at me?" I ask teasingly. I hear him letting out a breath, of embarrassment or guilt I don't know. "I may have unintentionally hurt you, on several occasions. I may have done the wrong thing more than once. But despite all of that I still like you, hell if I know I might love you. I've never felt the way I feel about you for anyone else before. I can't stop thinking about you. Your laugh, your smile, your voice. How you manage to pull a joke at a time like this, to how peaceful, and beautiful you look when you're sleeping." I smile. "You okay? Did you hit your head or somethin'?" I tease. "Shut up." ------------------------- Olivia, a 16-year-old girl with a tragic past. Her sister was kidnapped and brutally killed, her father comes up with the brilliant idea of moving. As she's getting settled in school, she meets this mysterious boy, and before she knows it she is dragged into hell. Literally. Figuring out that the kidnapper is connected to the murder of her sister, might be her downfall. Especially when she finds out her big family secret, and the terrifying fact that her classmate, is in fact, a demon. How will she deal with the new turn of events and how her life has been turned completely upside down. Especially when she was convinced that she would only focus on school, something that is now so far down on her list of important things to worry about, that she barely even remembers to show up to class. This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister Kit

Ghost aren't real. And chics this cute don't tell you they are. It's the reassurance I told myself, which mostly didn't work cause it was a straight up lie. This book doesn't have effervescent, long haired fairy's or stoic vampires that smolder and fight. More like a judgmental grumpy teen weed dealer named Zach, who shamefully talks about himself in third person like this. And you won't find some grand quest up a mountain or into an unknown land rich with magic because I have asthma and no time for that shit. And lastly, there will be absolutely no hideous romance where instantly the girl of my dreams sweeps me off my feet. I get on her nerves far to much for that. Finding out I'm part of ancient group of mediums tasked with cataloging, fighting and cleansing ghost you would think has some upsides. But so far all that comes with it is cold chilled air that gives me the sniffles when they're around. I'd like to say by the end of this book I'll have conquered the monster and won over the girl, but as you read you'll learn that's far to much faith in a screwup like me. This book won't be for everyone, hell people die in it. But the good news is that if I die at least I'll be around, floating off of the pages to haunt you in your home. Actually that sounds like bad news so perhaps try and finish so you know if you have a ghost . *This story contains themes of suicide, sexual content, drug use and mature language. 🎶Look up the Bury A Friend playlist on spotify to play the songs at every number.🎶
