We follow the story of Sophia, who grew up in a strict Catholic village where people still believe as they did in the 1500s. The arrival of a new family in the village changes the young Sophia's view of faith and of life itself. She wants more than to become a housewife.

She wants to live, to enjoy life, and through the influence of Joyce, her new best friend, Sophia blossoms into a cheerful young woman-playful and spirited. Traits that, in the eyes of the village, the school, and the church, are considered a disgrace. To calm her down and bring her back into line, her father sends her to a convent when she turns eighteen. But does that truly have the desired effect on Sophia, or does she have an effect on life behind the convent walls?

It's kind of in the title but I'll give the main character her juicy back story I guess: Liliana Petrou, originally Liliana Gabriel before she got adopted was living in an orphanage. She never did what she was told and she never followed the rules. Her parents died when she was little and she had no other family, this led to her having to keep a rather tough act that she hardly ever broke for anyone, you were lucky if you ever heard any emotion in her voice at all. Liliana never had that many friends people were either scared or jealous of her. Will she ket her tough barriers down for a handsome boy and her new family, or would she keep the facade. Liliana was a Quite a nice kid but will she like her new home, or will she act out like she did at the orphanage, who knows, read to find out! <3 Hope you enjoy the story. (I also try an update as much as I can and as regularly as possible but sometimes I will get held back).
