At Hogwarts, secrets spread faster than magic, especially in Slytherin. At Hogwarts, everyone plays a part - the saint, the sinner, the golden one, the snake. Ophelia Blackwood has hers perfected. She's sharp, confident, and adored, the kind of Slytherin who can charm a room with a glance. But behind the perfect smile and polished uniform, she's walking a fine line between who she is and who she's supposed to be. Then there's Draco Malfoy - cold, cutting, and always watching. He's made an art of pretending not to care, especially when it comes to her. His words sting, his silences sting more, and neither of them knows why they can't seem to stop circling each other. And Mattheo Riddle, quiet where Draco is cruel, distant where he's loud. He doesn't talk much, but when he does, it's usually to her - the only person who remembers the version of him that used to laugh. They've all been in the same friend group for years. They've all played this game before. But this year, the stakes are higher, the secrets darker, and the lines between love, hate, and loyalty blur faster than ever. Because in Slytherin, affection looks a lot like manipulation, and every story is just another wicked game.

Eveline was never meant to go to Hogwarts. Her parents wanted to homeschool her, train her to do magic without a wand, and keep her a secret from the rest of the wizarding world. However, the spell that kept her hidden wears off, and she receives a letter inviting her to start her third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. To avoid gossip, her parents let her go, under the condition that she will use a fake wand and stay quiet about her heritage. In a family filled with liars, deceivers and schemers, she is quite familiar with keeping secrets. There are a lot of things her parents don't know, and there are a lot of things she can unravel about herself and her family. Doing it all alone is quite discouraging. Thankfully, her family is close to the Malfoys, and Draco turns out to be her biggest support. Hopefully, he's not just there for her because of their parents. 🪄 The Serpent's Daughter is a series of five books, set from Harry's third year to the seventh, and will show a different viewpoint than the original books. (The translation is a work in progress.) My material mostly comes from the books, with influences from the movies and a few changes where I saw fit. These books have a Swedish original on my main account, @AnnaMansen. Do note that the original books are a bit older and might differ from the translation. All drawings are my own. Do not copy.
