This was supposed to be a new start for them; Astra had made that clear. If she looked back on it all now it would tear her apart. A fresh start meant no more wounds. It meant new friends, and distance from endless hospital visits and a potential criminal record. She was ready to leave him behind her.

(Authors Note: This story is completed, but is in the editing phases as I post the edited chapters before publishing. I intend to post a new chapter every week or so, and I'm more than excited to share my story with anyone who it speaks to!)

Cherish The Moments We Had Together no A Story of Second Chances and New Beginnings When Ethan Collins is uprooted from everything familiar-his hometown, his friends, his girlfriend-and transplanted to Westwood in the middle of junior year, he's convinced his life is over. Armed with bitter resentment and a long-distance relationship he's determined to maintain, he arrives at Westwood High expecting nothing but misery. What he finds instead is a world that refuses to let him wallow. There's Andy, the effortlessly charismatic athlete who won't take no for an answer. Dayna Prescott, the mysterious "Westwood royalty" who seems to have her own agenda. And a cast of characters who all seem to know who he is before he's even introduced himself-courtesy of his surgeon mother's growing legend and his lawyer father's rising star. Ethan doesn't want a fresh start. He wants his old life back. But as boxes get unpacked and unfamiliar hallways become navigable, he begins to realize that maybe-just maybe-being forced to rebuild isn't the end of his story. It might be the beginning of something he never knew he needed. This is a story about the messy reality of starting over. About the guilt of moving forward when part of you wants to stay stuck. About discovering that sometimes the worst thing that can happen to you opens the door to the best thing you never saw coming. Not every ending is an ending. Sometimes it's just an uncomfortable new chapter. Disclaimer: This work is a completely original piece of fiction. "What if I'm not one?" I asked, my body wound tight with tension. "One what?" he asked, his voice soft and low. I hesitated. Was I ready? I wanted to tell him so badly. Wanted to scream it from the fucking rooftops. But there would be no going back if I allowed the words to spill out into the world. Telling myself I didn't need someone else's validation, that I knew myself well enough to know with absolute certainty that I was trans was all good and well in principle. But lying here underneath my bed, with my best friend's body pressed so close to mine I could feel his warm breath on my face, I felt those convictions slip through my fingers. Danny's rejection would break me. In a fundamental way. "One what?" he repeated the question, scooting so close to me the tip of his nose brushed mine. Dust motes danced around us, suspended in mid air, teetering on the brink of this momentous feeling wrapping itself around us. I squeezed my eyes shut, pushing down the rush of anxiety trying to drown me. His nose bumped mine again and his breath ghosted over my lips. I opened my eyes and stared unblinkingly into his. 'A girl', I wanted to say, even though I knew the words would taste sour in my mouth, 'what if I'm not a girl?' -------------------------------------- Sean and Danny have been next door neighbours and best friends since they were six years old. They've shared almost everything. From first kisses and crushes to heartbreak. But Sean has a secret. One he's never shared with his best friend - who's also the guy he's been in love with since he's known what love is. Sean is trans and struggling to come out. But it's Senior year and choices have to be made. Between college applications, uncovering a plan to hurt one of their classmates and his relationship with Danny, Sean is struggling with doing the right thing and graduating high school in one piece. ⭐to cross oceans for is PART I of Sean and Danny's story⭐ *TW: sexual assault and bullying *

Four years ago, Catherine Louise Rossum left town-and Jake Nicholson behind. Once her best friend, he's now Ashcliffe Crescent High's golden boy, untouchable and magnetic. She's the girl who disappeared like a ghost and returned six blocks away, feeling like a stranger in her own story. But time changes people, and Catherine is no exception. The question is: will it pull her and Jake back together-or push them further apart? "He's not the boy she left. She's not the girl he remembers".
