"Some women are poetry, Others are the cuts they leave behind." ______________ Tara's voice cut through the room like a blade. "I shouldn't have dated a fucking child. You're immature! Do you even realize-?" "I'm not a child," Ishaani snapped back, chest rising, pulse hammering. Tara's eyes narrowed, voice low and trembling with restrained fury. "The way you behave... it shows differently. I never should've been with you-" "I didn't beg you to, bitch," Ishaani shot, defiance in every syllable. Tara whirled, sharp as a whip. "Bitch?" Almost instantaneously spotting her fuck-up, Ishaani let out a breathless, involuntary "Oh-oh." Before she could recover, Tara's hand shoved her firmly against the door, making her spine echo the point. Her Hazel eyes glared like velvet knives. "A Bitch?....Definitely then...." She trailed off, as she let her hands wander along Ishaani's watch, "Fine, I'm the bitch. And you'd be lucky if you even get to sleep on the floor outside this bitch's room tonight." She spat venomously. ______________ What began as a harmless crush on her sister's best friend during a sultry, Delhi summer has ignited into a storm of worship and reverence, Ishaani can no longer pretend to oversee. Not when she forgets how to inhale, if Tara's cruel words and meticulously harsh demeanor isn't the one flipping her down. She met divinity in the eyes of the woman who destroyed her; Every glance, every brush of skin, every teasing word pulls her closer- and Tara Kapoor- political strategist, human right activist and an art curator-may be just as dangerously tempted. What happens when this tapestry of reverence hurls Ishaani into a whirlpool of extreme political vengeance and secrets the whole of Delhi NCR shan't whisper? ______________

WARNING: this story will contain a male lead who has anger issues and controlling in nature, not a moral story some scenes may trigger you so, if you do not wish to read it please skip it. Story will contain some explicit scenes so you have already been warned. When fiercely independent college student Ishika Rai is torn from her glittering Delhi life by a family emergency, she finds herself trapped in a remote Rajasthani village that feels like stepping back in time. No WiFi. No freedom. No escape. Prithvi Raj Chauhan-the village head whose word is law. Respected by some, feared by all. His anger burns like desert fire, his dominance absolute. He sees Ishika as everything wrong with the modern world: defiant, disrespectful, dangerous to his carefully guarded traditions. She sees him as everything she's fought against: controlling, suffocating, determined to break her spirit. Their first meeting ignites a war. Every conversation becomes a battlefield. Every glance a challenge. He demands submission; she gives rebellion. He tries to silence her; she roars louder. The village watches in shock as their untouchable leader meets the one person who refuses to bow. But beneath Prithvi's rage lies a man haunted by secrets that made him this way. Behind Ishika's defiance beats a heart that's never met its match. As desert nights burn with their explosive confrontations, something darker and more dangerous than anger begins to consume them both. Desire. In a place where tradition rules and outsiders don't survive, two forces of nature are about to discover that sometimes the person who challenges you most is the one you can't live without. Can a woman who bows to no one love a man whose anger could destroy worlds? Can a king of tradition surrender his crown to a queen who refuses to be tamed? Some fires burn everything. Others forge unbreakable bonds.
