Phoebe's two fathers, the sensitive Kevin and the stoic Jarek, are not hiring for child care; they're hiring a temporary shield. Phoebe, with her white hair, sharp teeth, and unnatural powers, is demonic, and her parents are terrified she'll hurt them. While Kevin fears her and Jarek tries to manage her trouble, Charlotte makes a terrifying discovery: Phoebe loves her. Unlike her distant fathers, Charlotte is kind, and Phoebe's attachment quickly spirals into a dark, obsessive possessiveness. Charlotte just needs to survive a few hundred nights to earn her money, but Phoebe is preparing a game, and in her own terrifying, candy-coloured realm, the play date never ends...
This is my first time writing a horror story, so don't expect it to be that scary. I'll try my best, though. I also couldn't find a suitable story cover, so I put a forest background.
I want to be an author, and I like making stories. This is one that I've come up with. I hope you enjoy it!

And something bad does happen when Emmi is kidnapped, and it is no one's fault but Charlotte's. Through this obligation alone, Charlotte feels like it is her responsibility to get Emmi back, to right her wrong. In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself.
