Night Shift

This story revolves around a young bartender who's almost always on the night shift,hence the title. His life is later interrupted as the mafia enter his bar one night,creating a commotion within the once peaceful space. One of which didnt partake in the activity, seemingly forced to even be in the bar, and successfully catching the attention of the bartender. Their meetings become frequent and supposedly driven by fate.

He watched as he left. 'Come back soon' was a sentence that he'd normally say to improve the way customers think about the service from the bar but the way he felt just now was different.
