I feel nothing for you. Absolutely nothing!"

"Is that so?" His tone was amused, which only irritated me more.

"Yep. Nothing"

He took one step towards me with a smirk on his face. I swallowed, refusing to back up. He laughed at my discomfort. "Relax princess, I am not going to jump on you."

That relieved me somewhat, until he added, "not until you ask me to anyway."
----------------------

She was silk - soft, fragile, and meant to be cherished.
He was saffron - fierce, sacred, and untouchable.
But when fate tangled their worlds, softness met fire... and neither came out unscathed.

Meera, a quiet girl from Banaras, lives a life woven with duty and dreams she never dared to speak aloud. Her world smells of incense, colors, and prayers - until the day Rudra Singh Rathore, the ruthless heir of a royal lineage, enters her life like a storm.

He is the man who commands with silence, whose eyes hold both sin and sanctity.
She is the woman who defies him, even when her heart trembles.

When saffron stains silk, it doesn't wash away easily.
Between power and surrender, love and ruin, begins a story where devotion tastes like destruction... and every touch feels like a vow written in fire.

In the land where traditions are worshiped and hearts are forbidden to choose -
He was her sin, and she became his salvation.

I'm not really good at writing descriptions... but I promise you, this story is worth your time.
It's dark, intense, and filled with emotions that burn slow and deep.
Give The Saffron and the Silk a try -
because Meera and Rudra's story isn't about love that heals... it's about love that consumes.

He was waiting outside the OP, there for his student who had been injured during a fight over a phone. As he sat, casually glancing at his own phone, he suddenly heard the faint sound of a baby crying. Curious, he turned toward the sound-and froze. There, outside the pediatric care unit, sat his wife with their son crying in her arms. His heart ached-it had been months since he last saw his son. His gaze shifted to his wife, gently consoling the child. Her face looked tired, pale, and completely drained. Without a second thought, he stood, tears welling in his eyes. Each step he took felt heavy, his chest tightening with every cry from his son. As he neared, he saw her clothes were faded and worn. Her feet were bare, hardened from walking-clearly straight from the farm. His heart clenched. His eyes moved to his son-he had grown so much. She was so focused on calming the baby that she didn't notice him at first. Tears filled her eyes as she held their feverish child close. He softly called her name. Startled, she looked up-and froze. Then she quickly lowered her gaze and tried to get up. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. She sat back down, turning her face away, quietly wiping her tears. He reached out to take their son. The moment he held him, he felt the heat-his little body was burning with fever. A chill ran through him. After all these months, seeing his child like this was unbearable. He loved his wife and son deeply, but his loyalty to his mother-and obedience to her word-always came first. Between a mother who owned his soul and a wife who held his heart, he was a man torn in a cruel war of love and loyalty. And she-she had given her all to a promise whispered beneath the sacred fire... never knowing that one day, she'd be holding her child, with nothing but a faded vow.

(After High Series # 1) Saffron Rose Borromeo appears to have it all-top grades, family connections, and a guaranteed future in law. But appearances can be deceiving. Maximiliano Jose Delgado is her academic equal and complete opposite. Brilliant, intense, and fiercely independent, he seems to see right through her polished facade-and he clearly doesn't like what he sees. From their first day at the SCA- College of Law, they're locked in a rivalry that goes beyond textbooks and test scores. It's personal. It's consuming. And neither understands why the other brings out such strong reactions. But when good intentions collide with wounded pride, their carefully constructed worlds begin to crumble. Some secrets destroy trust. Some lies are meant to help. And sometimes, the person you're trying to save is the last person who wants your rescue.
