Mature
"So tell me, Victoria, what do you see as your biggest flaw?"
"Isn't it a little obvious, Doc," I laughed weakly, motioning to the side of my face. But Dr. Maya sat back comfortably in her leather chair and waited.
What do i see as my biggest flaw. Maybe it was the scar on my face that was a story within itself. Or the flab around my stomach that wouldn't dissappear no matter how hard I worked out. Those were minor things, considering.
"I guess my biggest flaw is my need to save others. I know what it feels like to be left behind and i don't want anyone I care about to feel that way. And its especially evident with him. No matter how hard I try, I just can't stop wanting to be his hero. Most women run away from a man with bloodied knuckles and Hell in their eyes,
but not me. I'll run straight into the fiery flames and burn myself alive trying to save him."

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
