Sometimes the kindness of a stranger can get you through the day. And sometimes it can change your life.
This is just a short story I wrote the other day, and I thought that I'd share it. Hope you enjoy! :)

White Top Hats
It started when the rain fell. As it hit the windows rhythmically, I fought my sleep. Fighting off the demons in my dreams. I hadn't realized how real that dream became. Waking up to terrified screaming. My heart racing, the lighting striking and my family begging for their lives. I claimed myself as a coward that very same night. I hated myself. My depression became the best of me. What's worst then your family being slaughtered? Hiding in the closet from the killers. I should've helped, I should've been there for them. The pain between my chest and stomach was growing guilt. So I started thinking smart. Looking at everyone differently. I decided to reopen their cold cases. And when I found the truth it hit me deep.Complete
Glimpse of it all
When u find comfort in expressing yourself through the selves of ur characters, for somethings are better off said by nonexistent people rather than those who do exist. I do not expect a lot of attention for this book, rather a companion for myself to pour the contents of my mind into a blank page. It will be a book, with no specific genre, no specific content, just a collection of short stories created by me, with my overly active imagination and my maladaptive daydreaming as co-writers. Becoming "Forever Yours"
Two girls. One heart. A tale of an unusual love. A story some of us need to hear. ~ "I like you. I don't care how uncomfortable that makes anybody. And I damn sure ain't letting anyone dictate if I can or can't talk to you." She brought my hands closer up, I could feel her cool breath against my knuckles. "Or if I can or can't be around you." "Why.. do you care so much?" I couldn't be angry anymore, not at her. Not with how she was looking at me right now. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't." She pulled me into her, the smell of her leather jacket now more heady and thrilling as ever. She's going to kiss me.. She's.. she's really going to do it.. My eyes started to flutter close, head tilting in a fashion that allowed me to see what was coming just before I closed them completely. Awe shit. I backed away. "Turn around.." My chest tightened. "..And there's your reason."Complete
Are you okay?
She wanted to die. He wanted to live. ••• A hand grabbed onto my wrist, yanking me back just as the train rushed past, before I'd even had time to comprehend whether or not I'd carry out the action. I stumbled back into the person's chest, my heart jumping out as I swivelled around, startled to find myself staring into piercing dark brown eyes. "Were you going to jump?!" "No," I drawled out sarcastically, ignoring the intensity of his eyes as they bore into my own, "I just stand on the edge of train platforms at midnight because I feel like it." Seeing the stranger tense, I stepped away from the edge, feeling his hand let go of mine as I picked up my bag before moving to sit down on one of the platform benches. Letting out an evident sigh of relief, he sat down after tentative movements towards me, and I could feel his intense gaze raking across my features. His eyes never left me, I was sure of it, with every step both he and I had taken. "Are you okay?" He had asked warily, apparent apprehension in his deep voice while he spoke, "Do you want to talk about it?" "What's there to talk about?" I threw his question back at him, watching him study me for a few critical moments before his potent gaze switched to our surroundings. "I did just watch you nearly kill yourself; that might be a place to start?" ••• She didn't expect for a complete stranger to stop her milliseconds away from committing suicide. She didn't expect him to be so kindhearted and patient. He didn't expect to stop her from jumping in front of a train the first time they met. He didn't expect to find himself falling for the one girl he knew he shouldn't. [Word Count: 180,000 - 200,000]Complete
Give me shelter
Have you ever felt so lonely you believed there was nothing left for you? Stashed away, merely forgotten. I mean you could cry and cry, yet no one would hear you. At least no one you truly once loved. Being yourself can be detrimental to others happiness, and so you down play who you are. You devalue your beliefs, your morals fall short and that hollow rock turns into your Mirror. Do you matter anymore? Would anyone care if you simply disappeared? Could you find your way out of the darkness? Look Closer is one of my favourite quotes and so I'll use it as a guide to understanding the complex characters you're about to meet.Complete
Cynical Souls
COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly.
