Then, his eyes find my lips. What the hell is happening? My heartbeat fastens as I hold my breath. And his eyes find mine, again. He slowly leans in. His mouth traces my jawline and face. It doesn't touch me, but he's too close I feel his breath. I don't even realize that his hand has released my throat, and I could freely go if I wanted to. But I'm feeling way too many things at the same time. Why aren't you running, Jess?
