You weren't a Spherite. Hell, it was your first day in the city.

Voices rang through your head as you found yourself being sentenced to death by the pit.

Since you weren't from the North Ward, you were always on the receiving end of questions. Others offered you shelter and a positive environment while you were a helpful asset of information, while a certain other group only wished to use it with vile intentions, leaving you with an inevitable future. Only time could tell what happens then when they figure out where you're from.

Meeting your new family down there was not on your bucket list. But Zanka hated your guts, hated the way you could talk back to him, and was it ever impossible to find common ground with this guy.

"I hate how you make me feel this way. Why are you always there? It's so damn annoying."

"Maybe it's because I'm also a cleaner, Zanka."

I apologize in advance if this is cringe at all, I read a lot of stories but I've never had a complete writing project despite loving to type out all my ideas.

The plot is all over the place for this story, but you come into the story a day after Rudo arrived in the pit, so episode two.

Reader is 17 years old, Zanka's age. Everyone is their canonical ages.
