Each night, she drifts into the same nightmare - the hush of trees that breathe, the whisper of something waiting just beyond the light. In those dreams, the shadows know her name, and they never stop calling. By day, she seeks help from a quiet voice behind a desk, a mind trained to untangle illusions. But the illusions are not her own. The nightmares are not dreams. And the one guiding her through them is fighting a battle she cannot see - one that takes place both in her sleep and in the waking world she thinks is safe. As the veil between worlds thins, truth seeps through like ink in water. The darkness that haunts her belongs to her, but also to the one who would save her - and in the end, neither of them may wake.

What if the door they warned you about... was the only one that called your name? What if the voice sounded familiar - like someone you lost? Would you open it? And when your reflection smiled back with eyes that weren't yours... would you still believe you were safe? What if you were the one possessed - but too aware to stop it? And what if the only people who could save you... were the ones already breaking? How do you fight a demon... when it's wearing your soul like skin?
