I walk nervously into the room, way out of my comfort zone in the presence of all these unfamiliar people. I look around, my deep brown eyes scanning the room, taking everything in.

I begin to turn around, intending to leave through the door I came in. I take one step before crashing into someone

who was too focused on the conversation she was having with her friend, that she wasn't looking where she was going, resulting in both of us ending up on the floor rubbing our foreheads in pain.
"Shit I am so sorry" I whispered. Reaching out a hand to help pull her off the ground.
She accepted my help, and I swear I felt some sort of spark when our fingers brushed.
"Oh no, don't worry about it, it was totally my fault I wasn't looking where I was going" she replied, running her fingers through her hair before looking up at me with gorgeous brown eyes the colour of chocolate.
"I'm Phoebe, by the way"
"Calum"
"Nice to meet you Calum! Are you trying out for the musical?"
"Uh, yeah... I guess I am"
