They both love each other very much and always cuddled with every chance they gotten. Something happens and (y/n) is clueless. She has no idea where Kaneki was for ten days and it gotten her worried. When they told (more like showed) about what happened to the human child, the ghoul lost control of his sanity and killed all the investigators who were keeping him and the child prisoners. When he regained sanity, he took the child to a safe place and left her in the hands of human loving ghouls. That child was soon known as Phoenix.
