Two months. Sixty-two days of hotel rooms, FaceTime calls, missing bedtime stories, and daylight disasters.The tourr had been everything Wilbur had ever wanted. Sold-out shows, incredible crowds, cities straight out of dreams.
But that didn't stop the heartache.
Summer has just begun, and finally, he's back on the familiar streets of his city, yearning for the time he'd spend with his husband and daughters. The morning coffees shared in comfortable silence, interminable dramatic dollhouse scenes, sleepy kisses that taste like toothpaste, the weight of someone he loves curled against his chest in the dark.
Living what most people would call a "boring life."
Living what he called a perfect life.

On Wilbur's 13th year in the institution, he was sure he would just be stuck in this Limbo, left to wait until he finally died, no one could help him and it seemed that no one wanted to help him. I can almost see the blood seeping out of the wounds I intend to slice into his skin. His pupils dilate as he clutches the dagger's hilt before it meets the vulnerable flesh of his neck. "Quackity drop the fucking knife," Wilbur hisses, gritting his teeth. My eyes widen as my grip loosens on the blade and his wrist, the knife clattering out of my grasp as I stare at him. I dip down, sensing the tension hovering between us, feeling his heart hammer against his ribcage. From where sit straddling his waist, I see his face soften at the sight of my dishevelment. "What are you so afraid of?" he whispers gently. * * * Synopsis: Behind closed doors, a casino isn't all glittering lights and card games. It's made of traitors and cheaters... Quackity has always stood in other's shadows, cast out from countries, betrayed by those whom he loved, and laughed at by those whom he thought he could trust. Quackity walked over towards the gate, his footsteps finally being heard on dirt as he approached it. The gate was small enough to simply jump over, much to Quackity's inconvenience. He rolled up the sleeves of his button up, pushed back his beanie, and wiped the sweat off of his brow. He set his hands on the top of the iron blocks, when the door to the van swung open and none other than Wilbur Soot himself came down the steps. "Quackity!" He said, raising his hands in the air as if meeting an old friend for the first time in ages, "why, what do I owe the pleasure?" Quackity's eye twitched as his frown curled deeper into itself. He wasn't having this.
