The Perfect Distraction

Choi Eun-na grew up with the motto "Live up to their expectations or be a disgrace."

She never makes her parents grow tired of her accomplishments. Nor make them disappointed. She may have been born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but growing up she never experienced any love from her parents. Seeing them once complimenting her older brother made her realize something: all she needed to do was to be perfect to get their attention. And when Eun-na grew up, she made studying her only fundamental objective in life. To be higher than anyone in school, never failing once, and to be seen as the star of her family.

Whereas Jang Tae-hyun is the complete opposite of her. And I mean everything about the two of them is the opposite of each other. Unlike Eun-na, he, on the other hand, never met his parents; he has been living with his aunt and uncle in a rundown old-style house near the city's great lake.

He doesn't need to be perfect; just one fistfight with someone and everyone's attention will be on him. All of the students in his school know him as the one having frequent visits to the principal's office or as the one that makes trouble for their school. No one knows why he acts like he acts. Unknown to the people around him, he fights in the well-known illegal underground boxing match in the city. He may not be an academic achiever but he is constantly being the winner in every match, and no one can defeat him.

Tae-hyun will keep it that way. And so will Eun-na. They will never strike out for their aspiration.

But one incident will change everything they schemed all throughout their whole lives and bring these two opposite people together. But fate will play them like a game. Because destiny will make them each other's PERFECT DISTRACTION.
