Bruce Yamada is the perfect baseball player from North Denver. Perfect grades, perfect friends, perfect upbringing.
When assigned to a project with Vance Hopper, the careless and reckless rebel, Bruce finds it impossible to not keep getting to know him more and more, peeling back layers of their past, emotion and acceptance.
Vance doesn't understand why exactly Bruce acts like he's not scared of him. Considering he's a burnout being held back, Vance tries to push Bruce away in hopes of not ruining his good reputation.
