When a superpowered thief gets caught by an alien hero with a god complex, he's offered a choice:
Prison or the experimental Phoenix Program.
He picks the one with better snacks, and hotter women.
He doesn't take it seriously at first, but he eventually learns to see the value in doing good, leaving him with a choice between serving himself, or serving others.
What path will he choose?

Long story short, I ended up in the Superhero Dispatch Network's Phoenix program, which is a rehab program consisting of a team of reformed villains, a ln endless cycle of dispatchers, and expectations I'm not sure I can meet without screwing up in a spectacularly infamous fashion.
Hah! Yeah, I said it... should I say that again?

The Ability Era
Disclaimer: There is some violence(blood and gore), and some crude language. This story is currently under hiatus. Not sure when I will continue. The story revolves around this organization called the Intergalactic Brigade Force(IBF) which is kind of like a special police made up of people with abilities(powers). The ability persons(AP's) are ranked by letter, Squad A being the best, and Z the worst. The beginning of the story focuses on Squad Y and their mission to stop an arms dealer called Red Coyote. The focus shifts away from them and shows the perspective of a plethora of characters such as a robot cowboy, a crazy mind controller, some weird prison inmates, and later shifts to a school of AP children. This is further proven by the sudden appearance of enhanced individuals nicknamed "Blights," which single-handedly explains the general consensus about them. Hated and oppressed, Blights have had their backs against the wall for decades. Jason is forced to cut ties and let go of his old life in order to embrace his new one fully. As time passes, Jason would uncover a grandiose conspiracy being plotted by the board to overthrow him and to appoint someone who they deemed worthier and more capable than him. Jason would of course go to war with the board to keep his position and to retain his family's honor.
