There are a lot of ways I expected this night to go, but curled up at a bar and drowning my sorrows is definitely not one of them. Sad part is, I don't even think it's breaking up with my girl that's got me all messed up. I'm pretty sure it's knowing my best friend is entertaining company that isn't me. It's never mattered before. Don't know why it's mattering tonight, but I'm starting to think the reason my relationships never last is because I've been overlooking the one I was meant to be with all along.

Is it sad that I revolve my life around my very straight best friend who I've been completely in love with since we were kids? Probably. Does that change anything?
