There are a lot of ways I expected this night to go, but curled up at a bar and drowning my sorrows is definitely not one of them. Sad part is, I don't even think it's breaking up with my girl that's got me all messed up. I'm pretty sure it's knowing my best friend is entertaining company that isn't me. It's never mattered before. Don't know why it's mattering tonight, but I'm starting to think the reason my relationships never last is because I've been overlooking the one I was meant to be with all along.

Is it sad that I revolve my life around my very straight best friend who I've been completely in love with since we were kids? Probably. Does that change anything? No. I've known for a long time that I'd never have a shot. It's depressing and painful as hell, but I learned a long time ago that I can live with being just friends easier than not having him at all. This is a short little 18K SarawatTine friends-to-lovers fanfiction where an oblivious Tine suddenly sees his best friend, Sarawat, in a whole new light. You can expect co-dependent best friends, 'they were practically already dating' and 'everyone knew but the oblivious one' vibes, and a bi-awakening. Brief mentions of Tine's parents having divorced when he was a child due to cheating, along with a toxic parent being emotionally abusive to Tine. However, these things do not actually happen to them, but to others related to them. The bullying, homophobia, abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts, and attempted suicide, and stalking do actually happen to the main characters. There is also light BDSM in this story. It is talked about rather heavily and explored. Mil and Phukong are both heavily into it and the main characters explore it and experiment with it as well.
