Having been forced to do the sleep study as part of her overall grade in her university class, Miren participates. But what begins as a simple academic project turns unnervingly on, and everything starts getting weird. How does she know things about people she's never met? What could her dreams mean? What did the sleep study do to her? The deeper Miran dives, the more she uncovers whispers of the study's past, and one thing for certain: Miran is set about trying to find the answers and secrets behind the sleep study experiments, even if it means becoming a target. Sleep should be a refuge, but for Miran, it becomes the most dangerous place of all.

The dates match. Everything added up. How could I not realize it? The bodies. The charges. The gossip. The rumours. The accuracy. The deaths. Every single body went missing. They were right, I should have listened. I knew something was weird, but not this bad. Church on Sundays, book club on Mondays, Bible study on Wednesdays, their kids' games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Charity donations on Fridays, and dates on Saturdays. I guess its true what they say. The biggest monsters don't hide in the darkness of your closet. Instead, they smile in your face in broad daylight. The worst demons don't conceal themselves in your shadow. They thrive in the light. The darkest souls own the brightest smiles. A light so captive, you don't even realize they've gotten so close. Don't even realize when you've befriended them and their darkness has touched you. So, Sometimes, to find the ugliest monster, you have to look in the mirror. P.S, the tags should serve as a warning as well. This story is my own, which means I own the characters, plot, etc. However, I did get some inspiration from James Patterson's WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, just with a slight twist ;)
