People perform confidence while privately feeling unseen, uncertain, and inadequate. Many overthink, mask their pain behind composure, or feel lost trying to find their place in the world. This short poem captures that quiet struggle the hopelessness, exhaustion, disconnection, self criticism, and numbness that live beneath the surface. It reflects on awareness: observing internal pain, questioning it, and seeking answers that never seem to come. Brain Matter uncovers what it feels like to search for guidance in a world that only answers with silence a rhythm of repetition, yearning, and unanswered questions.

As a person who overthinks all the time my mind flows with my most precious thoughts, always seeking to create everlasting essays that shape me. There's beauty in honesty, and that's what I want to bring to every piece. I read each of my thoughts as poems. Read however you my feel the words should be read. My mind is an everlasting poem. Here are some honest thoughts from my mind and some of my favorite things. BY: PEOPLEREADTOO
