Proverb of a Captured Star

This is my story of my oc's! A sci-fi/action with a good old found family trope.
Ahem:
This particular creature wanted some type of belonging. Someone to confide in, a friend maybe, just someone to stay with. But after some certain cause and affects in it's life, that just simply wasn't an option.
Until one day there was opportunity.
They took it and now they've wound up on a whole other planet. Still alone, more or less, but there could be actual chance. In fact, it's right around the corner...
